August 10 2009 - 1:00PM
Business Wire
FICO (NYSE:FIC), the leading provider of analytics and decision
management technology, announced today that it will change the
ticker symbol of its shares on the New York Stock Exchange from
"FIC" to "FICO," effective at the start of trading on Tuesday,
August 18, 2009. The new symbol reflects the company’s identity,
which is widely known and respected among investors, consumers and
the industries FICO serves.
“The FICO name stands for empowerment, innovation and
value…qualities that we’ve earned over time, that mean a great deal
to our shareholders, clients and partners, and that distinguish us
in the marketplace,” commented Mark Greene, CEO at FICO. “It seems
only fitting that this identity be reflected in our ticker symbol,
the shorthand by which the investment community knows us best.”
In recognition of this milestone, Mark Greene and other FICO
executives will ring the NYSE closing bell on Monday, August
17.
