Ascent Solar Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:ASTI), a developer of flexible thin-film solar modules, announced today that Votum, a Czech Republic-based solar integrator, will begin distribution of Ascent Solar’s lightweight, flexible, high power thin-film CIGS modules for building integrated (BIPV), building applied (BAPV) and portable power solutions in the Czech Republic. The agreement with Votum gives Ascent Solar access to multiple market segments in the Czech Republic’s solar market.

This relationship will give us access to a rapidly growing market for BIPV and BAPV applications in the Czech Republic.
