Application has today been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London
Stock Exchange for the blocklisting of 380,000 ordinary shares of 20 pence
each to be admitted to the Official List.


The blocklisting relates to Brammer's various share option schemes as follows.
20,000 in relation to the 1995 International Savings Related Share Option
Scheme, 90,000 in relation to the 1999 Savings Related Share Option Scheme,
200,000 in relation to the Executive Share Option Scheme 1995 and 70,000 in
relation to the Executive Share Option Scheme 1997.


These shares will rank pari passu with the existing ordinary shares in issue
and will be issued as a result of the future exercise of options under the
share option schemes.
