Independent financial advisory Kepler Cheuvreux said Wednesday that Atlas Merchant Capital and Edmond de Rothschild Equity Strategies have each agreed to take minority stakes in the company.

The Paris-based company said Atlas agreed to take a 19.7% stake in Kepler Cheuvreux, while Swiss private bank Edmond de Rothschild's equity strategy unit, ERES, is to take 8% of its share capital.

The deals come after BlackFin Capital Partners together with other co-investors disposed of their 23.9% stake in Kepler Cheuvreux.

"Both Atlas and ERES will help us to invest in our organic expansion and in our targeted acquisition strategy," said Laurent Quirin, chairman of Kepler Cheuvreux's supervisory board.

UniCredit SpA (UCG.MI) said earlier on Wednesday that it increased its stake in the company to 10.3% from 5.2%.
