ATLANTA, Oct. 14 /PRNewswire/ -- An accident involving a vanpool vehicle used by Southern Company and Georgia Power employees resulted in the deaths of three employees during Tuesday afternoon's metro Atlanta rush hour. "This is a terrible tragedy for the Southern Company and Georgia Power families," said David Ratcliffe, Southern Company chairman, president and CEO. Southern Company and Georgia Power officers visited with the families of the injured and deceased Tuesday evening.
