The SAI Global Compliance Law and Ethics Advisors include prominent lawyers, ethicists, and industry experts in the fields of business ethics and corporate compliance who provide insight, subject matter expertise and guidance to SAI Global in developing and updating courses, understanding and reacting to industry trends, and advising the company on legally compliant and ethically responsible workplace behavior.

Marjorie Doyle, Principal, Marjorie Doyle & Associates, LLC, is an expert practitioner and leader in the field of ethics and compliance. She works with all organizational levels including Chief Ethics & Compliance Officers, CEOs, and Boards of Directors, and advises, coaches, counsels, develops, and helps to effectively implement compliance and ethics programs in a way that successfully embeds them into business processes.  

Prior to her consulting practice, Ms. Doyle was EVP, Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer at Vetco International, and Chief Ethics & Compliance Officer at Dupont.  In these roles, she built and globalized compliance and ethics functions and led a best practices response to meeting agreements with the US Department of Justice resulting from Foreign Corrupt Practices Act (FCPA) violations pleas.  Her earliest experience was as a litigation associate with Fulbright & Jaworski in Houston, Assistant US Attorney for the District of Connecticut, and Law Clerk to the Honorable John R. Brown, Chief Judge of the US Court of Appeals for the Fifth Circuit.

In 2005 Marjorie Doyle was awarded the Society of Corporate Compliance & Ethics (SCCE) award for her work and contributions to the ethics and compliance community.

Alice Peterson is the founder and former president of Syrus Global, a provider of hotline and case management solutions, acquired by SAI Global in 2009.  Ms. Peterson currently serves on the faculty of the Practising Law Institute (PLI) and the National Association of Corporate Directors (NACD), and consults, speaks and writes on topics of governance and ethical culture.  

Ms. Peterson held executive positions at Sears, Kraft and PepsiCo prior to founding Syrus Global.  At Sears, Roebuck and Co. where her last position was Vice President and Treasurer, she launched and ran Sears Online and held key roles during the IPO and subsequent spin-off of Dean Witter Discover and the IPO and spin-off of Allstate.  While serving as Assistant Treasurer at Kraft, Ms. Peterson was responsible for the defense plan which the company deployed when Philip Morris made its takeover offer.

Marjorie Doyle is a regular speaker and contributor on ethics and compliance programs, FCPA and anti-corruption and anti-bribery programs, board of directors' responsibilities, ethical cultures, and all elements of building a successful program.  She is a member of the Advisory Board of Directors of the SCCE, former member of the Steering Committee of the Open Compliance and Ethics Group (OCEG), charter member and former chair of the Council on Corporate Compliance of the Conference Board, charter member of the Compliance & Ethics Leadership Council of the Corporate Executive Board, a member of the Ethics and Compliance Officers Association (ECOA), and a member of the Ethics Research Center (ERC). She has both the CCEP and CCEP-F certifications for the profession.  She has written numerous articles and contributed to books on various topics relating to the ethics and compliance profession.

Alice Peterson currently serves on the boards of Williams Partners and RIM Finance, the US subsidiary of Research in Motion Ltd.  Earlier board service includes Hanesbrands, Navistar Financial Corporation, 360 Communications, and Fleming Companies.  She also currently serves on the board of trustees of the Institute for Business & Professional Ethics at DePaul University and the NACD-Chicago Chapter.  Ms. Peterson holds a Master of Business Administration degree from Vanderbilt University's Owen Graduate School of Management.
