NEW YORK, Dec. 1 /PRNewswire/ -- The American Stock Exchange(R) (Amex(R)) today announced that it has launched trading in five new exchange traded funds (ETFs) from PowerShares Capital Management LLC (PowerShares), including the first Financial Preferred Portfolio and Value Line Industry Rotation Portfolio. These new PowerShares ETFs bring the total number of ETF listings on the Amex to 216. The PowerShares Financial Preferred Portfolio (Symbol: PGF) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield (before fees and expenses) of the WHPS(SM) Financial Index, which is calculated using a market capitalization weighting methodology. The PowerShares Dynamic Large Cap Portfolio (Symbol: PJF) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield, before fees and expenses, of the Dynamic Large Cap Intellidex(SM) Index, which is comprised of stocks of 100 U.S. large-cap companies. The PowerShares Dynamic Mid-Cap Portfolio (Symbol: PJG) seeks investment results that correspond generally to the price and yield, before fees and expenses, of the Dynamic Mid Cap Intellidex(SM) Index, which is comprised of stocks of 150 U.S. mid-cap companies.
