("Sports Direct" or the "Company")

Issue of Equity

The Company announces that application has been made to the UK Listing Authority for 30,000,000 ordinary shares of 10 pence each in the capital of the Company to be admitted to the Official List of the UK Listing Authority.

It is expected that admission will be granted on 26 January 2012.

These Shares are being reserved under a block listing and will be issued pursuant to the following scheme:

These Shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued Shares.

Following the admission the total number of ordinary shares in issue (excluding ordinary shares held in Treasury) is 598,602,369
