Painted Pony Petroleum Ltd. ("Painted Pony") (TSX VENTURE:PPY.A) (TSX
VENTURE:PPY.B) is pleased to announce the appointment of James D. (Jim) Reimer,
P.Geol., as Vice President, Exploration. Mr. Reimer brings more that 30 years
experience to Painted Pony, including 12 years in executive exploration roles.
He was previously Vice-President at Result Energy Inc. and prior thereto served
as Vice-President at Encal Energy Ltd. and Stampeder Exploration Ltd. Mr. Reimer
holds an Honours B.Sc. and a Masters degree in Earth Sciences, both from the
University of Waterloo. He is a Past-President of the Canadian Society of
Petroleum Geologists and was named a Science Alumnus of Honour by the University
of Waterloo in 2007.
