PEKIN, Ill., July 20, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- The
International Association of Eating Disorders Professionals
(iaedp™) Foundation, the world leader in training and certification
for eating disorder treatment providers and professionals, kicks
off its 33rd annual symposium with theme of "Instilling Passion
into Treatment and Recovery."
The four-day symposium is slated for February 7 – 10, 2019 at the JW Marriott Desert
Springs Resort in Palm Desert,
California. The next several months will be action-packed
with announcements of the keynote speaker line-up, nearly 100
research presentations and networking events and the annual Imagine
Me Beyond What You See art competition, among many others.
"Year after year, our intention is to provide training options
that are unparalleled in our field and do it as innovatively as
possible so that professionals can, over four days, network and
participate in presentations that build and develop skills and
knowledge," said Bonnie Harken, the
iaedp™ Foundation's Managing Director.
"This year's theme is really the essence of what our industry
and the thousands of treatment professionals are all about –
providing the care and emotional inspiration for recovery," added
Harken.
For first-time Symposium attendees, scholarships are offered
which cover a majority of the registration fees for the conference.
Applications are available now through November 30, 2018 and can be completed online.
Financial awards are provided based on answers to the application
questions.
Early registration will open on August
1 and will be available to all eating disorders
professionals, including members and non-members of iaedp™. Since
hotel rooms sell out quickly, it is advised to register as early as
