Bellzone Mining PLC (BZM.LN), an iron ore exploration company with assets in Guinea, announced Monday the appointment of Raj Kandiah as Chief Commercial Officer effective October 11, 2010.

MAIN FACTS:

-Kandiah has held a number of senior management positions including; General Manager, Argyle Pink Diamonds where he was responsible for the balance sheet of the business; Global Practice Leader, Rio Tinto PLC (RIO.LN) Marketing Centre where he led a number of significant change management programs; Marketing Manager, Hamersley Iron; and Sales and Marketing Manager, Alcoa of Australia where he was lead negotiator.

-Shares at 0713 GMT down 1 pence, or 1.42%, at 69.50 pence.
