NORTHBROOK, Ill., March 7, 2018 /PRNewswire/ -- Allstate has
been named one of the 2018 National Association for Female
Executives (NAFE) Top Companies for Executive Women, a recognition
of American corporations where women have significant clout to make
the decisions that affect their company's future and its bottom
line. Allstate is a member of NAFE's Hall of Fame and has been
recognized by the organization for its commitment to the
advancement of women in the workplace. The NAFE Top 70 Companies

full report on this year's winners is listed here.
"Allstate embraces inclusive diversity and has made it central
to our culture and the way we do business," said Christy Harris, Allstate's vice president, human
resources, benefits, inclusive diversity and talent acquisition.
"At year-end 2017, 56 percent of employees and 45 percent of
managers at Allstate were women. We are committed to creating an
environment where people from different backgrounds are provided
every opportunity to succeed, and that includes fostering the
talent of women in our workplace."
In 2016, Allstate's Enterprise Diversity Leadership Council
(EDLC) established inclusive diversity commitments in every
business unit to improve diversity in its talent recruiting efforts
and on its leadership teams, which includes the development and
recruitment of women. Additionally, Allstate offers female
employees the chance to join the Power of 5, a sponsorship program
designed specifically to pair women with leaders throughout the
organization to help enhance their skills and careers.
As part of its broader inclusive diversity efforts, Allstate
leverages 11 Employee Resource Groups (ERGs) and Agency Owner
Advisory Groups to ensure all employees, regardless of background,
are encouraged and perform at their highest levels. Allstate also
supports the inclusion of diverse suppliers through its Supplier
Diversity Program. Established in 2003, the program has contributed
to increased procurement of goods and services with diverse
suppliers.
