Lithuania issued 1.25 billion euros ($1.34 billion) in new 10-year bonds via a bank syndicate on Wednesday, with books for the new issue closing in excess of EUR4.5 billion, one of the bookrunner banks said.

The spread on the new June 2033-dated bond was set 95 basis points above mid-swaps, the same bank said. The new bond, which has a 3.875% coupon, was priced at 99.366, at a yield of 3.953%.

Joint bookrunners of the issue were Citi and Societe Generale.
