The children and families who attend the event all take part in CII's specialized programs, which are designed to help children recover from trauma, build resilience to deal with adversity and become ready for success in school, work and life. For many of these families, the CII Winter Family Festival is the only celebration they will experience during the holiday season. Representatives from the offices of Mayor Eric Garcetti, Los Angeles County Supervisor Hilda Solis and City Attorney Mike Feuer will be joining the day's festivities.

CII's 2017 Winter Festival will include a toy giveaway, holiday entertainment, arts and crafts, and more. Special thanks to this year's Winter Festival sponsors for their generous support: Mattel, Hornburg Jaguar/Land Rover, Los Angeles magazine, City National Bank, O'Melveny & Myers LLP, Good + Foundation, Savills Studley, and CII support groups The Colleagues, Les Amies, and The C.H.I.P.S.

In addition, CII thanks all the individual and in-kind donors, as well as corporate volunteers, for helping to make this event possible: El Pollo Loco, Greg Huebner Photography, Justine Bloomingdale, Gigi's Café, Magician Tony Elias, Loyola Marymount University Library, UCLA Latino Alumni Association, Farmers Insurance, Dancing Squirrel Productions, Shelter Partnership, PBS SoCal, LA Photo Party, Pix Sweet, and Boy Scouts of America.

The CII Winter Family Festival is hosted for families who receive services from CII and is not open to the public.
