The Company announces the allotment of 50,000 ordinary shares of 25p each ("ordinary shares") fully paid under its block listing facility. These shares were issued for cash on 13 July 2020 at a price of 2,175.00p per share, which equates to a premium to the estimated cum income net asset value at the time of the transaction of 1.79%.

The cum income net asset value per ordinary share at the close of business on 10 July 2020 was 2,111.81p per share.

The new shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of the Company.

   --    Number of ordinary shares in issue - 137,315,000 
   --    Ordinary shares remaining in Company's block listing - 9,896,049 
   --    Ordinary shares remaining under shareholder allotment authority - 9,892,500

The above figure of 137,315,000 ordinary shares may be used by shareholders as the denominator for the calculations by which they will determine if they are required to notify their interest in, or a change to their interest in, Polar Capital Technology Trust plc under the FCA's Disclosure Guidance and Transparency Rules.
