CHANGE OF GROUP COMPANY SECRETARY
HSBC Holdings plc (the 'Company') has today announced the
appointment of Aileen Taylor as Group Company Secretary and Chief
Governance Officer with effect from 4 November 2019, replacing
Richard Gray who has served as interim Group Company Secretary
since 19 April 2019.
Aileen joins HSBC from the Royal Bank of Scotland Group plc
('RBS') where she was Chief Governance and Regulatory Affairs
Officer and Board Counsel. A qualified lawyer, she spent 19 years
at RBS undertaking roles across Legal, Company Secretariat, Risk
and Compliance and the last nine years as the Group Company
Secretary. She will join as a member of the Company's Group
Management Board.
HSBC's Group Chairman, Mark Tucker, said:
