Appointment and Resignation of Directors

Following the announcement on 9 April 2008 by Silverstone Energy Limited ("Silverstone") that  its
recommended offer to acquire the whole of the issued and to be issued share capital of Granby  has
been declared wholly unconditional, Granby announces the following changes of Directors.

Appointment of Directors
Granby  is  pleased  to  announce the appointment of Matt Brister  (49)  and  Steve  Horton  (54),
respectively  Chief  Executive  Officer and Chief Operating  Officer  of  Silverstone  Energy,  as
Directors of Granby Oil and Gas plc.

There  are no other matters to report regarding Mr Brister or Mr Horton subject to Schedule 2  (g)
of the AIM rules.

Resignation of Directors
The  existing  Directors of Granby have tendered their resignations. Ric Piper will  remain  as  a
Director  until  the  cancellation  of trading of Granby's shares  on  AIM  on  9  May  2008.  The
resignations of the other Directors, namely Dr Nigel Burton, David Grassick, Richard  Moreton  and
Dr David Morton and Adam Shutkever, are with immediate effect.


Matt  Brister, Chief Executive Officer of Silverstone Energy Limited said "We would like to  thank
