QATAR INVESTMENT FUND PLC

TREASURY SHARES - CANCELLATION

Qatar Investment Fund plc (the "Company") announces that the 20,000 shares purchased on 21 December 2015, the 20,000 shares purchased on 22 December 2015, the 15,000 shares purchased on 23 December 2015, the 15,000 shares purchased on 24 December 2015, the 15,000 shares purchased on 29 December 2015, the 15,000 shares purchased on 30 December 2015, and the 35,000 shares purchased on 31 December 2015 have been cancelled in accordance with the Company's treasury share policy published on 15 August 2010. Following the cancellation, the Company now holds 1,470,689 shares in treasury.

The Company's issued share capital comprises 102,896,644 ordinary shares with voting rights with a further 1,470,689 shares held in treasury.

In accordance with the Disclosure and Transparency Rule 5.6.1, the Company's total number of shares with voting rights therefore remains unchanged at 102,896,644.
