Suspension of listing of ordinary shares

Amati VCT plc (the "Company") confirms that it is expected that the listing of its Ordinary Shares and the trading in those Ordinary Shares on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange will be suspended at 7.30am on 4 May 2018 as indicated in the Company's RIS announcement on 9 March 2018 in connection with the proposed merger with Amati VCT 2 plc and the Circular published by the Company and Amati VCT 2 plc on that date.

If the Company's shareholders pass the special resolution to be proposed at the General Meeting convened for 11am on 4 May 2018 then it is expected that the listing of the Company's Ordinary shares on the Official List of the UK Listing Authority and the trading in the Ordinary Shares on the Main Market of the London Stock Exchange will be cancelled with effect from 8.00am on 8 May 2018 again as indicated in the aforesaid RIS and Circular.
