Lukoil PJSC (LKOH.MZ) said Monday that its average hydrocarbon production rose 3.8% in 2018, boosted by the expansion of gas projects in Uzbekistan.

The Russian oil-and-gas company said average production for the year came to 2.3 million barrels of oil equivalent daily, excluding the West Qurna-2 project in Iraq.

For the fourth quarter, average production rose to 2.4 million barrels, up 1.9% from the preceding quarter.

Lukoil said its annual oil production was unchanged from the prior year at 85.6 million metric tons. Gas production rose 16% to 33.5 billion cubic meters.
