Laser Energetics, Inc. (Pink Sheets:LNGT) is pleased to announce a new sales contract with M.E.R.I.T., Inc., New Jersey-based Service Disabled Veteran Owned company which provides Security Services. It also helps small disadvantaged businesses compete for contracts from the Federal Government. M.E.R.I.T. has purchased Dazer Laser® GUARDIANS and has become a Distributor of the Dazer Laser® Products. In addition, being that M.E.R.I.T., Inc. is a Service Disabled Veteran owned business, this new distributorship will assist Laser Energetics in competing for certain Federal Contracts that are only offered to Service Disabled Veteran Owned Small Businesses. M.E.R.I.T.'s  Founder and President, Jose L. Rodriguez, was named the 2011 SBA NJ Small Business Person of the Year. In addition, M.E.R.I.T. has executed many contracts with such agencies as the US Navy, EPA, National Park Services, FAA, US Army, US Coast Guard and many other Federal Agencies. This combination of having already done business with the federal government and being an 8(a) and Service Disabled Veteran Small Business will allow Laser Energetics to compete for even more Federal Contracts with all branches of the US Armed forces and Federal Agencies.
