TD (TSX:TD) trades for $88 at the time of writing compared to $109 at the peak in February. The share price is down about 11% year to date, and TD trades at a multiple of about 11 times trailing 12-month earnings.

The stock has held up better than some of its peers, but it still looks undervalued. TD built up a large cash hoard during the pandemic and is using the funds to make two acquisitions in the United States to drive future growth. The purchase of First Horizon for US$13.4 billion will make TD a top-six bank in the American market. TD is also buying Cowen, an investment bank, for US$1.3 billion.

TD raised the dividend by 13% for fiscal 2022. Another big increase should be on the way for next year. Investors can currently get a 4% dividend yield.

WDLF and TPTW best overall managed, stacked team of Sharp management and board members. TPTW only has about 1 billion authorized shares and boasting multi million and multi billion dollar contracts. These two are by far my favorite. DPLS was a shot in the dark but .000s to .2020 in 7 months And still holding .05 range... amazing year. My family works in TD, and I bank with them since the 90s, nothing against TD. Just hasn't grown much in a decade, that's all I'm saying. But set it and forget it, bank the divis I get it, safer investment. I'll get there one day myself

The company also announced today that, subject to the approval of OSFI and the Toronto Stock Exchange ("TSX"), it intends to launch a Normal Course Issuer Bid ("NCIB") permitting the purchase for cancellation of up to 50 million of its common shares, representing approximately 2.7% of TD's issued and outstanding common shares as at October 31, 2021.

As at October 31, 2021, the Bank's Common Equity Tier 1, Tier 1, Total Capital and Leverage ratios were 15.19%, 16.45%, 19.12% and 4.77%, respectively.
