KBR Awarded Job Order Contract by City of Austin, Texas

KBR (NYSE: KBR) today announced it has been awarded a job order
contract by the City of Austin, Texas. Under the contract, KBR will
be a provider of renovation and repair construction projects for
the city’s municipal facilities. The one-year contract (with option
to renew for an additional one year) is Austin’s first stand-alone
job order contract.
KBR will provide a range of construction services that will vary
in size and scope and will include facilities repair, renovations
and new construction for facilities owned or managed by the City of
Austin. The job order contract is designed to provide a quick and
cost-efficient method of delivering repair, renovation and
construction services. Work on the contract is expected to begin
immediately.
