Item 2.02 Results of Operations and Financial Condition
 
On February 5, 2009, AGL Resources Inc. issued a press release announcing the Company’s financial results for the quarter and year ended December 31, 2008. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.1 and incorporated by reference herein.

On February 5, 2009, AGL Resources Inc. issued a press release announcing that the Company is changing the ticker symbol for its common stock on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) from "ATG" to "AGL" effective February 9, 2009. A copy of the press release is attached hereto as Exhibit 99.2 and incorporated by reference herein.
