ADRs Increase Wednesdayl ABB and New Oriental Education Trade Actively

International stocks trading in New York closed higher
Wednesday.
ABB Ltd. (ABB) and New Oriental Education & Technology Group
Inc. (EDU) were among the companies with ADRs that traded
actively.
The S&P/BNY Mellon index of American depositary receipts
rose 0.6% to 140.87. The European index increased 0.8% to 130.98,
the Asian index improved 0.3% to 165.21, the Latin American index
rose 1.1% to 232.10 and the emerging markets index increased 0.4%
to 299.73.
ADRs of ABB rose 5.1% to $20.47. The company reported earnings
Wednesday. Revenue and profit declined in the third quarter.
ADRs of New Oriental Education & Technology Group rose 3.7%
to $112.43. Daiwa raised its price target on the company from $125
to $135 and said its margin should expand. Benchmark also raised
its price target on the company from $128 to $130, according to
Benzinga.
