Chartered Clinches Investor Relations Awards

Chartered Semiconductor Manufacturing Ltd. (Nasdaq:CHRT) and
(SGX-ST:CHARTERED) received two major awards in the “Small or
Mid-Cap” category at the recent IR Magazine Southeast Asia Investor
Relations Awards 2009. The company was named the Grand Prix winner
for Best Overall Investor Relations while Lim Li Chuen, director of
investor relations at Chartered, was named Best Investor Relations
Professional.
The ninth annual IR Magazine South East Asia Conference &
Awards took place on Thursday, December 10 at Singapore Exchange in
Singapore. An independent survey conducted by Thomson Reuters Extel
Surveys of buy-side analysts, sell-side analysts and portfolio
managers covering Asian stocks determined the awards.
