(NASDAQ:AATK) is pleased to announce that Howard W. Kelley has been appointed as an independent member of its Board of Directors. Howard W. Kelley is President of Jacksonville-based Sally Corporation, one of the oldest and largest designers and fabricators of animation robotics and dark rides used internationally in theme parks, museums, and attractions. Sally Corporation has affiliates in Australia, the United Kingdom, Spain, Japan, Korea, India, and the United Arab Emirates. Before joining Sally in 1985, Mr. Kelley spent over 25 years in broadcasting, including ten years in television management as a news director and later as Vice President and General Manager of Channel 12 WTLV, the NBC affiliate in Jacksonville, FL. Prior to this executive position he was a reporter, assignment editor, news producer and anchor, and has won a number of awards for broadcast journalism. Mr. Kelley is currently a member of the board of Environmental Tectonics Corporation (AMEX:ETC), a Philadelphia-based international engineering and manufacturer of aero-medical, safety training simulation, sterilizers and hyperbaric chambers. He previously served as corporate director of broadcast strategic planning for a major U.S. communications company. He has also served as a director of several U.S. technology corporations with international business initiatives. Mr. Kelley is a former chairman of the District Board of Trustees of Florida Community College in Jacksonville. He now serves as an executive professor at the University of North Florida College of Business Administration. Mr. Kelley is also a college adjunct instructor on Internet technology and E-commerce. He is a frequent international lecturer on future technology, international business and the Internet. Mr. Kelley is a director of the European theme and leisure trade association (TiLE), a member of International Association of Amusement Parks and Attractions (IAAPA) and a recent recipient of a special commendation by the directors of IAAPA. For more than two decades, Mr. Kelley has been active in local and regional civic and community affairs. He is a five-time member of the executive committee of the Jacksonville Chamber of Commerce, past President of the Jacksonville World Trade Center Association and a founder of First Coast Council of Chambers. He received the Governor's Excellence in Export Achievement Award and holds the Williamson Award for Contributions to Regional Economic Development. A Jacksonville native, Mr. Kelley received his undergraduate degree in broadcasting from the University of Florida. He is a graduate of the Harvard Business School's Program for Management Development and the Japanese International School of Business Studies.
