COTIGNAC, France, March 21, 2018 /PRNewswire-PRWeb/
-- Multi-award winning rosé wine brand Mirabeau en Provence,
takes a bold step introducing premium, appellation-specific Pure
Provence rosé in cans this spring.
Pure Provence is a blend of 80% Grenache and 20% Cinsault,
sourced from Coteaux Varois en Provence AOC and overseen by
Mirabeau winemaker, Nathalie Longefay. The beautifully designed 250
ml canette will debut at Whole Foods Market stores nationally
starting April 5, 2018, available in
4-pack cartons for SRP $19.99.
"We wanted to elevate the canned wine offering in the US market
with a truly premium AOC designated wine and a beautifully designed
package," commented Stephen Cronk,
Mirabeau Proprietor, adding, "It's elegant, highly convenient,
there's no compromise on quality and it responds to today's
experiential lifestyles."
Coteaux Varois en Provence AOP covers the central region of
Provence, between the Côtes de Provence AOC and the Coteaux
d'Aix-en-Provence AOC. The region is sheltered by the Sainte-Baume
mountains which offer a cooling effect allowing for pleasant
natural acidity.
With a vibrant pale-pink color, Pure Provence is a seductive
blend that epitomizes the carefree beauty of the French Riviera. A
delicate nose of apricots and fresh citrus aromas hints at the
lovely balance between expressive fruit and acidity in this wine.
Classic summer fruits are prominent, nicely counterbalanced by
fresh grapefruit flavors with a lingering, soft finish.
At 13% alcohol and low residual sugar (0.8 g/L), Pure Provence
is versatile with food, or delicious as a refreshing alfresco
drink.
Mirabeau en Provence is imported and represented in USA by
Pacific Highway Wines & Spirits. Pure Provence by Mirabeau (SRP
$19.99) joins a portfolio of four 750
ml bottled Côtes de Provence rosés. Mirabeau Classic 2017 (SRP
$21.99), Pure 2017 (SRP $26.99) and Etoile 2017 (SRP $34.99) are available nationally. Additional line
extension for Spring 2018 includes Azure 2017 in 750 ml size (SRP
$26.99) available in select
states.
