years spent establishing themselves as a market leader in virtual
reality (VR), Resolution Games will be expanding their efforts to
include new gaming experiences in augmented reality (AR) and have
announced initial details on their first title, which is slated for
release in 2018.
Bait! Under the Surface will be the third entry in Resolution
Games' popular Bait! fishing franchise, which has garnered more
than 2 million downloads to date. The original Bait!, which
recreates the experience of casting your rod and reeling in a big
catch, was released to critical acclaim on Gear VR in 2016 and
Daydream in 2017.
Resolution Games was also selected by Facebook to be the first
developer partner to create content for Spaces, their social VR
app, which resulted in the casting-and-chatting social experience
Bait! Arctic Open to launch last Fall. Bait! Under the Surface will
take the series' gameplay into fresh waters once more, giving
players the ability to create a fishing hole right in their living
room floor, while having the collections and character development

Ahead of the game's launch to the more than 100 million ARCore
supported Android devices, you can try out an early demo during the
Games Developer Conference March 21-23,
2018 in San Francisco, CA
at Google's booth (823 South Hall Moscone Center).
