U.S. Dollar Rises Against Majors

The U.S. dollar strengthened against the other major currencies
in the European session on Wednesday.
The U.S. dollar rose to nearly a 3-week high of 0.7582 against
the Australian dollar, from an early low of 0.7662.
The greenback climbed to near 2-week highs of 1.4742 against the
pound and 0.7390 against the NZ dollar, from early lows of 1.4871
and 0.7490, respectively.
Moving away from early 2-day lows of 1.2644 against the Canadian
dollar and 119.40 against the yen, the greenback edged up to 1.2709
and 120.32, respectively.
Against the euro and the Swiss franc, the greenback edged up to
1.0717 and 0.9741 from early lows of 1.0791 and 0.9682,
respectively.
If the U.S. dollar extends its uptrend, it is likely to find
resistance around 0.74 against the aussie, 1.45 against the pound,
0.71 against the kiwi, 1.28 against the loonie, 121.01 against the
yen, 1.05 against the euro and 1.01 against the franc.
