Slovakia issued 2 billion euros ($2.14 billion) in new June 2033-dated government bonds via a bank syndicate on Thursday, one of the lead managers said.

Orderbooks for the new 10-year bond closed in excess of EUR7.7 billion, according to preliminary data, including EUR220 million joint lead manager interest, the same bank said.

The spread on the bond was set 80 basis points above mid-swaps, having been tightened from the mid-swaps +95bps guidance. The new bond has a 3.625% coupon, and it was priced at 99.202, at a yield of 3.722%, the same bank said

Joint bookrunners of the issue were Citi, CSOB (KBC Group), HSBC and Tatra Banka (Raiffeisen Bank International).
