PITTSBURGH, Feb. 3, 2023
/PRNewswire-PRWeb/ -- National recognition honors company culture
of equity and inclusion
Highmark Health and Highmark Inc. were recently named to
Newsweek's "America's Greatest Workplaces 2023 for Diversity" list.
Parent company Highmark Health earned a four-and-a-half star rating
and its wholly owned subsidiary Highmark Inc., the nation's fourth
largest Blue Cross Blue Shield insurer, earned the highest possible
five-star score.
The list was compiled by Plant-A Insights for Newsweek and used
public data, interviews with human resources professionals about
the most important drivers of employee satisfaction and anonymous
surveys of a diverse pool of employees from companies with
1,000-or-more employees.
In all, the process yielded feedback from around 350,000 companies.
The 1,000 highest-scoring employers were included in the list,
which appeared in Newsweek in late January.
"Highmark Health is proud to be recognized by Newsweek as one of
'America's Greatest Workplaces for Diversity,' said Margaret Larkins-Pettigrew; MD, MEd, MPPM,
FACOG; senior vice president; chief diversity, equity and inclusion
