                   Trading Update - Year to 31 December 2007


RICHMOND HILL, ONTARIO - 8 January 2008 - Visual Defence, the security
convergence company, today announces an update on trading for the year to 31
December 2007.


The year to 31 December 2007 has been a positive year for Visual Defence. As
previously announced we have won a number of important new contracts and
contract extensions in both the civil and military applications of our systems.
Of particular note was the signing of a new 25 year contract with the government
of an African country for a build-operate-transfer passenger safety and security
screening project at the country's principal airport.


The positive momentum of delivering new contracts has continued into 2008 and
Visual Defence is pleased to announce the approval from the City of Stockholm's
public transportation authority, Stockholm LokalTrafik (SL), to deliver an
additional 250 IP intercom help phone units. This $1.3 million CAD order
extension brings the total number of IP intercom help phones to be delivered to
500.


The Company has continued to grow its revenues and the Directors expect to
report revenues for the year to 31 December 2007 of approximately $28 million
CAD. Additionally the Directors are pleased with the progress the Company has
made toward profitability. However, even though the Directors expect to report
an operating profit for the second half of 2007, the Directors expect to report
an operating loss for the full year to 31 December 2007. The cash position of
the Company remains strong at approximately $15 million CAD.
