LONDON--Sky PLC (SKY.LN) said Thursday that it has disposed its minority share holding in video-based technology company Net Power & Light Inc. to Wickr Inc.

The broadcasting and communications company disposed its holding as part of the acquisition of Net Power by Wickr. Sky will receive shares in the U.S. software company as consideration, which it intends to hold.
