Reckitt Benckiser Group Appoints Laxman Narasimhan as New CEO

Reckitt Benckiser Group PLC (RB.LN) said Wednesday that it has
appointed Laxman Narasimhan as chief executive effective Sept. 1,
succeeding Rakesh Kapoor.
The consumer-goods group said Mr. Narasimhan will join the
company as CEO designate and will be appointed to the board as an
executive director effective July 16. Mr. Narasimhan is currently
Global Chief Commercial Officer at PepsiCo Inc. (PEP) and was the
company's CEO for Latin America, Europe and Sub-Saharan Africa
operations. He also served as PepsiCo's Senior Vice-President and
CFO of PepsiCo Americas Foods.
