Further re Recommended Proposals for Voluntary Liquidation

The  Company stated in its circular dated 1 December 2006 that, with a  view  to
maximising shareholder value in the Company's winding up while returning capital
as  soon  as  practicable following the appointment of  the  liquidators  on  29
December 2006, it was intended that on 18 December 2006 the Company's assets  be
sold  and  a  derivative  instrument acquired through which  the  Company  would
maintain  exposure to market movements in the FTSE 100 Index until  as  near  as
practicable to the commencement of the winding up.

The Company announces that:

       -    the assets were sold and the derivative instrument acquired as intended on
          18 December 2006; and

       -    the derivative instrument was closed on 21 December 2006.  Therefore with
          effect from 22 December 2006 the Company's assets wholly comprised cash and
          debtors.
