As part of the dual listed company structure, Investec plc and Investec Limited notify both the London Stock Exchange and the JSE Limited of matters which are required to be disclosed under the Disclosure Guidance, Transparency Rules and Listing Rules of the United Kingdom Listing Authority (the "UKLA") and/or the JSE Listing Requirements.

Accordingly, we advise of the following:

ADDITIONAL LISTINGS - INVESTEC PLC AND INVESTEC LIMITED

Application has been made to the UK Listing Authority and the London Stock Exchange for an additional listing of 10,609,172 ordinary shares of GBP0.0002 each in the capital of Investec plc (the "New plc Ordinary Shares") to satisfy deferred non-cash awards made to qualifying employees as part of variable remuneration under the Investec 1 Limited Share Incentive Plan and the Investec plc Executive Incentive Plan 2013. The New Ordinary Shares will be issued at an average price of GBP5.44 per share. The New plc Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of Investec plc. Pursuant to the dual listed company structure, Investec plc has also applied to the JSE Limited for the admission to trading of the New plc Ordinary Shares.

Investec Limited has applied to the JSE Limited for the additional listing of 8,181,965 ordinary shares of ZAR0.0002 each in the capital of Investec Limited (the "New Limited Ordinary Shares") to satisfy deferred non-cash awards made to qualifying employees as part of variable remuneration under the Investec Limited Security Purchase and Option Scheme 2002 Trust. The New Limited Ordinary Shares will be issued at a price of ZAR92.55 per share. The New Limited Ordinary Shares will rank pari passu with the existing issued ordinary shares of Investec Limited.

It is expected that trading in the New plc Ordinary Shares and New Limited Ordinary Shares will commence on 22 June 2018.

Following the additional listings, the total number of issued ordinary shares will be

   --      Investec plc: 680,447,867 
   --      Investec Limited: 318,904,709
