CGI Inc. said Monday it has secured an agreement worth about 500 million Swedish kronor ($48.2 million) with the Swedish Social Insurance Agency to digitize core processes and citizen interactions for the government authority.

The information technology and business consulting services company said the agreement is for a two-year term, with options to extend for another two years, and will see it partner with the Swedish agency to modernize its operations.
