Walgreens Boots Alliance Inc. said most of its Walgreens stores around the U.S. will resume standard operating hours Tuesday.

The Deerfield, Ill., retail and wholesale pharmacy in March implemented reduced operating hours to allow time for more cleaning and restocking of shelves amid the coronavirus pandemic.

Walgreens said some stores, mainly those located in tourist regions, downtown city centers or markets with government-mandated curfews, will continue to operate under the reduced hours.

The company said its stores in California won't resume standard operating hours until May 18 due to local regulations.

Walgreens said cleaning and sanitizing will continue to take place in the stores during operating hours.
