Rainmaker Regains Compliance With NASDAQ Listing Requirements

Trading Symbol to Return to 'RMKR' on Jan. 18, 2006 CAMPBELL,
Calif., Jan. 4 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- Rainmaker Systems, Inc.
(NASDAQ:RMKR), a leading outsource provider of integrated sales and
marketing programs, today announced that it has received written
notification from the NASDAQ Capital Market advising the company
that it has regained compliance with Marketplace Rule 4310(c)(4),
relating to the maintenance of a minimum closing bid price of $1.00
per share or greater for at least ten consecutive trading days.
Rainmaker effected a one-for-five reverse stock split on Dec. 15,
2005. Rainmaker's shares trade under the symbol RMKRD. The 'D' is a
temporary indicator of the reverse split and will be removed from
the ticker symbol after 20 trading days following the reverse
