BEI Technologies Announces Multi-Year Agreement With Thales Aerospace SAN FRANCISCO, June 13 /PRNewswire-FirstCall/ -- BEI Technologies, Inc. (NASDAQ:BEIQ) is pleased to announce that BEI's Systron Donner Inertial Division (SDID), has entered into a five-year agreement with Thales Aerospace, France, for the supply of QRS11 quartz rate sensors. Intended applications for the QRS11 are for electronic standby attitude indicator systems for commercial aircraft. BEI SDID is a world leader in producing mature MEMS sensors and systems that use its proprietary enabling QRS sensor technology. BEI has produced more than fifteen (15) million MEMS sensors for low cost automotive applications as well as high performance aerospace and defense platforms. BEI Technologies, Inc. (the "Company" or "Technologies") is an established manufacturer of electronic sensors, motors, actuators, rotary optical encoders, linear encoders with associated digital readouts (DROs), and motion control products used for factory and office automation, medical equipment, military, aviation and space systems.
