Our gross loss increased primarily due to an increase in costs for the new EV ARC™ 2020 unit compared to the original EV ARC™ which we expect to improve over time, and due to increases in the cost of materials and delivery services due to supply shortages.

"...which we expect to improve over time..." Seriously Clark??

pps getting attractive down here at $10's...raise the DAMM PRICE of "EV ARC™ 2020" and I'd be a re-buyer of the stock here

City of San José Deploys Beam Global EV ARC™ Sustainable EV Charging Systems

Transportable, one City EV ARC™ system to be featured at Fleet Forward Conference at Hayes Mansion November 10-12

SAN DIEGO, CA, November 9, 2021—Beam Global, (Nasdaq: BEEM, BEEMW), the leading provider of innovative sustainable technology for electric vehicle (EV) charging, outdoor media and energy security, announced that the City of San José in California has deployed four EV ARC™ solar-powered EV charging systems to charge City fleet EVs. The systems were purchased through the California Department of General Services (DGS) Contract #1-18-61-16, which serves to simplify the government procurement process and make chosen solutions available statewide at the best negotiated pricing.

The City of San José’s EV ARC™ charging systems fit in a standard parking space and are equipped with a dual port charger to serve the City’s growing fleet of electric vehicles. Each EV ARC™ system generates and stores its own clean electricity and delivers that electricity to power City EVs day or night, and during inclement weather and power outages. Flood proof to 9.5 feet and wind-rated to 120 mph, the product adds to the City’s energy resiliency and disaster preparedness. The transportable but permanent unit includes the Emergency Power Panel option for first responder use during blackouts or in locations where there is no utility connection available.

City of San José Deploys Beam Global EV ARC™ Sustainable EV Charging Systems

“San José has always been a visionary city when it comes to sustainability. We have a goal to operate all-electric, zero-net-carbon new municipal facilities,” said Walter Lin, Public Works Deputy Director of the City of San José. “City fleet vehicles can charge sustainably and cost-effectively with the Beam EV ARC™ solar electric vehicle charging systems bringing the city that much closer to achieving our clean energy future.”

Transportable, the City’s EV ARC systems can be relocated as fleet charging patterns emerge, for City events, and as an emergency energy source. One EV ARC™ will be relocated for demonstration at the Fleet Forward conference at Hayes Mansion in San José on November 10-12, a premier event focused on innovations in the electrification of transportation.

Requiring no connection to the utility grid, Beam Global products eliminate disruptive construction projects, costly electric circuit upgrades and utility charges to deliver significant long-term savings to city budgets.

“By deploying 100% renewably-powered Beam Global charging infrastructure solutions, San José is demonstrating its standing as a climate and resiliency leader,” said Beam Global CEO Desmond Wheatley. “With demand for EVs continuing to rise, municipalities in California and beyond are recognizing the cost and time savings unlocked by sustainable, transportable EV ARC systems for their rapidly growing charging needs.”

California Governor California Governor Gavin Newsom’s commitments to fast-track progress toward environmental goals include $1.5 billion in stimulus spending dedicated to zero-emission vehicles and new charging systems. This proposal follows a September 2020 mandate banning the sale of new gasoline and diesel vehicles in the state by 2035. The need for more sustainable EV charging infrastructure is also gaining traction at the national level, with President Biden announcing $555 billion for green jobs and infrastructure spending.

Beam Global Announces Record Contracted Backlog of More Than $7M and Pipeline of More Than $75M

SAN DIEGO, Oct. 12, 2021 (GLOBE NEWSWIRE) -- Beam Global, (Nasdaq: BEEM, BEEMW), the leading provider of innovative sustainable technology for electric vehicle (EV) charging, outdoor media and energy security, announced that it has a current backlog of purchase orders for EV ARC™, and other proprietary products, totaling more than $7M. This is a historically high level of contracted backlog for the Company and represents near-term future revenue which is greater than any prior full year. The Company’s sales pipeline has also grown from $50M at the end of the second quarter to more than $75M at the end of Q3 representing a material acceleration of Pipeline growth which is also at historically high levels.

Both backlog and pipeline amounts are comprised of purchase orders and opportunities (respectively) which include EV ARC™ system quantities which are greater than historical averages. Backlog includes orders which have transitioned from pipeline in less time than historical averages. The Company believes that these trends are indicative of increased order volumes and urgency, as federal, state and local governments accelerate their adoption of EVs, and as corporations return to the workplace post-vaccine resulting in an increased requirement for workplace charging.

Beam is making modest but highly impactful investments in its factory facility and delivery equipment to allow for an efficient increase in throughput and delivery of products. Certain purchase orders currently in backlog, like the recently announced United States Marine Corps order, are placed through government contract vehicles which specify delivery times of 90 days from purchase order issuance.

“It took ten years for us to get a pipeline of $50M and just one more quarter to get to over $75M,” said Beam Global CEO Desmond Wheatley. “We are converting pipeline to backlog and backlog to revenue at better rates than at any time in our history and we only anticipate improving on all these metrics. Government tailwinds both in the US and internationally, and consumer adoption of the fantastic new line up of EVs now available are creating the intense and urgent need for EV charging infrastructure that has been central to our investment thesis. We have zero debt and plenty of cash to execute on our organic growth. There’s never been a better time to be Beam.”

Car News reports that there will be 100 EV models to choose from in 2022 including the Ford F-150 Lightning and several other van, SUV, sedan and luxury models delivered by the large OEMs and new entrants like Rivian and Lucid. Announcements of investments in the tens of billions from the large OEMs are not uncommon and most auto manufactures have committed to fully electric fleets in the next two decades. The U.S. federal government fleet encompasses about 657,000 cars, SUVs and trucks. In January, Executive Order 14008 was signed directing agencies to dramatically increase the number of electric vehicles in the government fleet to help tackle the climate crisis. Beam’s EV charging infrastructure products are included on the federal GSA MAS Contract as the result of an extensive evaluation process conducted by GSA that serves as a testament to the company’s capabilities, performance history and customer satisfaction. For more information on purchasing Beam’s EV ARC™ ready-to-deploy sustainable EV charging solutions through the GSA MAS Contract, please contact The Beam Team at 858-799-4583 or BeamTeam@BeamForAll.com.

BEEM should be a beneficiary of the Infrastructure Bill. If they do not see a significant pop in revenue over the next year, they are in serious trouble. It will mean there are other solutions winning out there in the marketplace that may be more advance and/or economical.

Ventura County CA Orders Ten Beam Global EV ARC™ Off-Grid EV Charging Systems

SAN DIEGO, CA, August 3, 2021—Beam Global, (Nasdaq: BEEM, BEEMW), the leading provider of innovative sustainable technology for electric vehicle (EV) charging, outdoor media and energy security, announced that the County of Ventura in California has ordered ten EV ARC™ solar-powered EV charging systems for fleet and public use.

Ventura’s EV ARC™ units are equipped with ChargePoint™ Dual Port and Enel X JuiceBox® chargers. Fleet units are expected to deploy at the County of Ventura Remote Motor Pool locations. Public charging is expected to deploy in Oxnard at one of MICOP’s (Mixteco Indigena Community Organizing Project) offices that serves local disadvantaged communities. Each EV ARC™ generates and stores its own clean electricity and delivers that electricity to power EVs, day or night, and during inclement weather and power outages.

“The County of Ventura’s Climate Action Plan strives to reduce greenhouse gas emissions by 41 percent below 2015 levels. Electrification of County fleet vehicles is an important part of this plan,” said Chair of the Board of Supervisors for the County of Ventura, Linda Parks. “Funded in part by the California Energy Commission, the new Beam EV ARC charging stations are a model in clean energy because they are powered by solar energy and we are doubly fortunate to be able to install them without additional costs.”

Beam Global California Energy Commission

The competitive grant funding was awarded to Ventura County from the California Energy Commission’s (CEC’s) Clean Transportation Program, Electric Vehicle Ready Communities Phase II- Blueprint Implementation Grant. Requiring no connection to the utility grid, Beam Global products eliminate disruptive construction projects, costly grid upgrades and utility charges to deliver significant long-term savings to city budgets.

“Beam continues to see growing momentum in multi-unit orders as corporate and government entities across the U.S. move from trial to build-out under their initiatives to combat climate change with sustainable EV charging infrastructure,” said Beam CEO Desmond Wheatley. “Organizations are realizing the total cost of ownership advantages of off-grid sustainable EV charging now that they’ve experienced the expense, disruption, time and risks often associated with in ground charging. Beam joins other leaders in recommending 25% of EV charging infrastructure be off-grid and powered by renewable energy to provide secure EV charging infrastructure even during grid outages.”

Beam Global EV ARC Deployments 2021

There are over 3000 counties in the United States. Beam Global continues to expand its government customer base as local, state and federal entities transition from gasoline and diesel vehicles to reduce costs and carbon footprint and to comply with the increasing number of mandates which are in place across the U.S. to reduce transportation pollution.

State of California Places Order for 52 More EV ARC™
Solar-Powered EV Charging Systems

State makes $4 million investment to support energy resilience, disaster preparedness and EV fleet sustainability at 12 state agencies

SAN DIEGO, CA, May 20, 2021 - Beam Global (Nasdaq: BEEM, BEEMW), the leading provider of innovative sustainable technology for electric vehicle (EV) charging, outdoor media, and energy security, announced an order from the California Department of General Services (DGS) for 52 Beam Global EV ARC™ solar-powered EV charging systems. The EV ARC™ systems will expand access to sustainable EV charging and emergency power for 12 state government agencies. Beam Global EV charging infrastructure products are transportable, off-grid and require no construction, permitting or electrical work, providing fleet vehicles with access to clean, resilient EV charging. Wind rated to 120mph, flood-proof to 9 ½ feet and featuring an emergency power panel, the EV ARC™ systems also serve as emergency preparedness sustainable generators for fleet operators and first responders as they continue to operate during grid failures and provide power in locations without access to the utility grid.

EV ARC 2020 Drive on Sunshine

Funded by a California Governor's Office of Emergency Services (Cal OES) grant and executed by the DGS Office of Sustainability’s Transportation Unit, the order will bolster the state’s off grid and resilient EV charging infrastructure for government-owned fleets, which already incorporates Beam Global products previously deployed statewide. This order is purchased through DGS’ statewide California Contract #1-18-61-16 which simplifies the procurement process, ensures best pricing and is available to all state agencies and local government entities. The systems will provide power during emergencies and charge State of California EV fleets year-round. DGS has allocated the new EV ARC™ systems, according to each agency’s needs, for delivery and deployment within 90 days of order placement. This bulk purchase reflects Beam Global’s capability to fulfill orders of increasing scale while generating recurring demand, particularly in the public sector.

“We believe that this, the largest single order in our history is indicative of an increased emphasis on rapidly deployed and grid independent EV charging infrastructure by all branches of government,” said Beam Global CEO Desmond Wheatley. “The U.S. has a Strategic Petroleum Reserve but there is no Strategic Electricity Reserve. Each EV ARC deployed contributes to our nation’s energy security and in combination, provide the beginnings of a Strategic Electric Reserve. We are observing that this vital capability is becoming increasingly recognized in purchasing decisions and we applaud DGS and OES for taking this leadership position in securing the fuel of the future for California.”

Governor Gavin Newsom setting a 2035 deadline for phasing out internal combustion engine vehicle sales

Federal, state and local authorities are accelerating demand for renewably-powered EV charging in the U.S. in response to recent grid failures and ambitious clean energy and electrified transportation targets. California is a leader in the transition, with Governor Gavin Newsom setting a 2035 deadline for phasing out internal combustion engine vehicle sales and advocating for $1.5 billion in public investments in the state’s EV charging networks. The State of Washington has announced a similar ban five years earlier in 2030. At the federal level, President Biden aims to deploy 500,000 new public EV charging outlets as part of the administration’s strategy to revitalize the country’s transportation infrastructure and fight climate change.

Just Beemed in..

Congratulation to all of you that bought in here before I did today..EV charging stations run on solar power...I'm thinking what a great idea..(Why didn't I think of this) something a lot of other entrepreneurs are probably thinking...

I have been in the market since the late fifties..and this might be the best situation I have ever seen...Everything including the MCAP seems perfect.. This is going to be a major disrupter..as it will provide avenues for further employment for solar power while cutting down the carbon footprint...This will resonate with Elon Musk. Who recently retracted his offer to sell Teslas for Bitcoin...Not because he doubts the validity of Bitcoin...But he recognizes Bitcoin "mining" is harmful to the environment.

The option to sell Teslas for Bitcoin..counterfeits Musk's theory that Teslas are environmentally friendly..Musk must love Beem...Who knows, he might buy the company.

I see you guys are having a lot of discussions about selling your positions (shares)...I do not think that is a very good idea. This stock is one of those ones that the hucksters say that they owned it before it went up 10,000 percent...

Reminds me of the song from Beauty and the Beast. "Surely as the sun rises in the East."..

City of San Diego Deploys Beam Global EV ARC™ Off-Grid EV Charging Systems

Sustainable EV charging infrastructure to serve new city-owned EVs

SAN DIEGO, CA, April 23, 2021—Beam Global, (Nasdaq: BEEM, BEEMW), the leading provider of innovative sustainable technology for electric vehicle (EV) charging, outdoor media and energy security, announced that the City of San Diego has deployed two EV ARC™ solar-powered charging systems to fuel the city’s growing fleet of electric vehicles and provide emergency preparedness assets. To mark this milestone in San Diego’s initiatives to promote sustainable transportation, Mayor Todd Gloria spoke at a press conference featuring 10 new Chevrolet Bolt EV fleet vehicles, one law enforcement Ford Interceptor Hybrid and one fire department Ford Interceptor hybrid and the Beam Global charging systems on April 22, 2021. At the unveiling event, Mayor Gloria was joined by Beam Global CEO Desmond Wheatley; Alyssa Muto, Interim Director of the Sustainability Department for the City of San Diego; and Casey Smith, Director of the Fleet Operations Department for the City of San Diego.

EV ARC 2020 at BeamForAll.com

Beam Global EV ARC™ systems meet the needs of municipal EV fleets for flexible, scalable and resilient charging infrastructure. Powered by 100% renewable energy, EV ARC™ systems generate and store their own electricity to provide EV charging day or night, or emergency power in the event of a grid interruption or natural disaster. Requiring no connection to the utility grid, Beam Global products eliminate the need for permitting, construction or electrical work of any kind, reducing deployment time from months to minutes and delivering significant long-term savings to city budgets through avoided installation costs and utility bills.

“This program allows the City to continue making progress on our Climate Action Plan while saving taxpayer dollars,” Mayor Todd Gloria said. “The EV ARC solar EV charging stations will allow the City to take advantage of San Diego’s most plentiful natural resource and reduce emissions from City operations that harm human health and contribute to the climate crisis. Technology like Beam’s can help the City more effectively adopt electric vehicles and protect our environment for the next generation.”

Beam-EV ARC 2020-City of San Diego-Todd Gloria-April 2021

As part of its Climate Action Plan, the City of San Diego aims to convert 90% of its fleet to zero-emissions vehicles by 2035. In addition to supporting the city’s climate goals, EV ARC™ charging systems are rapidly and scalably deployed and ease the growing strain on California’s electric grid related to transportation electrification while providing backup power to San Diego first responders and other vital services.

Climate Action Plan & Our Climate, Our Future

“EVs are an inevitable and very beneficial change for municipal fleets. EV ARC systems enable the EV charging they need rapidly while saving them time and money,” said Beam Global CEO Desmond Wheatley. “With each deployment, Beam Global’s solar-powered EV charging solutions enable the City of San Diego to integrate more clean energy, save on fuel costs and enhance energy security. It’s an unbeatable value proposition.”

This deployment comes as Beam Global’s products are being used by municipalities in California and across the U.S. to meet the rapidly growing demand for EV charging infrastructure. In addition to deploying systems to serve city-owned fleets, Beam Global and the City of San Diego have inked a public-private partnership which aims to provide sustainable EV charging to the public throughout greater San Diego, free of charge.

Is Beam Global Stock Oversold?

Like many electric vehicle plays, Beam Global (NASDAQ:BEEM) has been unplugged. With its share price now cut in half from its New Year's Eve peak, investors have a great opportunity to jump in on a clear EV charging leader.

All fours firms that cover Beam Global have maintained 'buy' ratings. Last month Maxim Group reiterated its 'buy' rating with a $90 price target. This suggests the stock can more than double from here.

While the market may have been exuberant in bidding up some of the EV names, its easy to understand why the valuations got to where they were. The global growth opportunity is huge in the EV space and EV infrastructure in particular. As the world pushes towards carbonless fuels and even traditional automakers move towards EV production, demand for EV charging solutions is likely to intensify.

Look no further than the U.K. which recently announced plans to phase out the sale of petrol and diesel vehicles by 2030. The plan includes government grants for homeowners and businesses that can be put towards the installation of EV charging stations as well as additional funding to incentivize the purchase of zero emission vehicles.

And while Beam Global's prospects in U.K. may be limited by homegrown competitors, it has ample opportunity to thrive in the U.S. market. The company's solar-based EV ARC product has been well received by the market. It provides sustainable EV charging in minutes in sharp contrast to competitors' electricity-based offerings which can take months to deploy by the time proper permits are obtained and construction is completed. The EV ARC's other advantage is that it can provide power during cloudy weather conditions or times when the electricity grid goes down.

Beam Global's customer list of government agencies and blue-chip corporations is impressive—and it has just scratched the surface on a massive growth opportunity in EV charging. The current weakness in the stock offers a great chance for long-term growth investors to power up their portfolio.

Beam Global Announces 12% Increase in Energy Output from EV ARC™ Solar-Powered EV Charging System

SAN DIEGO, CA, February 25, 2021—Beam Global, (Nasdaq: BEEM, BEEMW), the leading provider of innovative sustainable technology for electric vehicle (EV) charging, outdoor media and energy security, announced improvements in the performance of the EV ARC™ sustainable EV charging system of up to 12%. The EV ARC™ 2020 system now delivers up to 265 e-miles in a day. All three models of the transportable, off-grid EV charging system now provide more range while unit pricing remains unchanged.

“Beam is a cleantech innovation company with a constant improvement culture. I’m really proud of the engineering team for delivering more e-miles without increasing our costs. Customers, EV drivers and investors will all benefit,” said Beam Global CEO Desmond Wheatley. “Whether it has 2 wheels, 4 wheels, 18 wheels, 6 rotors or two fixed wings we can charge it with renewable energy and without construction, electrical work, utility bills or risks from the sort of gird failures we have seen in Texas recently.”

According to the U.S. Department of Transportation, the average American sedan drives 30.4 miles per day, and it’s well reported that cars are parked approximately 95% of the time. EV ARC™ systems can charge as many as six vehicles at a time providing what Beam refers to as DRR, or daily range replenishment, to multiple vehicles. With rapid EV adoption, “fueling” behavior from consumers, government entities, and enterprises is changing. It is no longer necessary to go somewhere special to fill up from empty as has been the case with gas and diesel-powered vehicles. Electric vehicle owners quickly learn that it makes more sense to charge when parked: at work or while dining, exercising, shopping, or sleeping. EV ARC™ systems are ideally suited to meet the need for ubiquitous charging infrastructure because they support any quality brand of EV charger and are deployed in minutes without construction, electrical work or utility bills.

Beam Global Awarded Florida Statewide Purchasing Contract for Rapidly Deployed Sustainable EV Charging Products

SAN DIEGO, CA, February 18, 2021—Beam Global, (Nasdaq: BEEM, BEEMW), the leading provider of innovative sustainable technology for electric vehicle (EV) charging, outdoor media and energy security, announced that the Florida Sheriffs Association (FSA) in partnership with the Florida Association of Counties awarded Beam Global statewide contract number FSA20-EQU18.0 Heavy Equipment. The contract includes the flagship EV ARC™ 2020 and EV ARC™ DCFC sustainable EV charging infrastructure systems under the category Power Charging, with a contract term through September 30, 2023. This is the premier contract in the state for police, fire, municipalities and universities.

Beam was awarded the contract after qualification through a bidding process and review by the FSA and the FSA Fleet Advisory Committee. FSA contract prices are extended and guaranteed to any local government or political subdivision of the state, public educational institutions and other public agencies or authorities within the State of Florida. The EV ARC™ system continues to provide EV charging and emergency power during blackouts and is flood proof to 9.5 feet; factors which are particularly important in Florida and other locations which are at risk from rising sea levels and other flooding risks.

“We are seeing increased interest from states to provide EV charging infrastructure to government agencies, businesses, residents, employees and visitors and it makes perfect sense for the Sunshine State to drive on sunshine,” said Beam Global CEO, Desmond Wheatley. “To keep up with increased state requirements, rapid and scalable deployment is crucial. The EV ARC™ is the only rapidly deployed, sustainable EV charging solution on the market that is off-grid, transportable and can be deployed in minutes instead of months. It requires no permitting, no electrical work, no construction and generates no utility bill. Florida can now buy the EV ARC with pre-negotiated pricing, which will make the procurement process much easier.”

As of June 2020, Florida is No. 2 in the nation in passenger EV sales with roughly 64,500 EVs on Florida’s roads. With the signing of the Essential State Infrastructure Bill into law, the Florida Legislature and Governor DeSantis took the first step in activating state and utility engagement. The state law tasks the Public Service Commission (PSC), Department of Transportation (DOT), and the state energy office to lead the creation of an EV master plan. This state-level planning process places Florida in an elite class of states thinking strategically about the future of mobility.

President Joe Biden has announced a plan that represents the most ambitious clean energy vision by any U.S. president in history with billions planned for EV charging infrastructure and $4 trillion sought for green jobs and infrastructure spending. Beam Global currently has additional contracts in place with the Federal General Services Administration (GSA), the states of California and Massachusetts and the City of New York.
