Maserati Postpones Launch of New SUV as Chip Shortages Bite

Stellantis NV's luxury-car brand Maserati will postpone the
launch of a new model by several months because a global
semiconductor shortage. The company said Monday that it wouldn't be
able to make enough cars to meet the anticipated demand.
The Maserati Grecale SUV was set to launch on Nov. 16. This has
now been pushed to spring 2022.
Separately on Monday, Volkswagen AG's Skoda brand said it is
shutting down all but one production line for the next two weeks as
it, too, contends with a shortage of critical car parts.
