Prysmian Gets Dutch-German Grid Contract Worth Over EUR250 Million

Prysmian SpA (PRY.MI) said Wednesday it received a contract
worth more than EUR250 million from Dutch-German power grid
operator TenneT to link offshore wind farms in the North Sea to
mainland Germany.
In a statement, Prysmian said it will provide the supply,
installation and commissioning of submarine and land cable
connection as part of a larger contract awarded to the consortium
made up of the Italian cables company and Siemens AG (SI).
The cables and accessories will be manufactured from 2012
onwards, said Prysmian.
