Jazz Semiconductor, the leader in Analog-Intensive Mixed-Signal
(AIMS) foundry solutions and wholly owned subsidiary of Jazz
Technologies, Inc. (AMEX:JAZ), today announced the Call for Papers
for its 2008 Analog-Intensive Mixed-Signal Circuits, Applications,
and Technology (AIMS-CAT) Conference. This focused one-day event,
set for October 22, will be held at the Jazz Headquarters in
Newport Beach, CA in conjunction with the Jazz Annual Technology
Conference (JATC) set for the following day. The AIMS-CAT
conference will bring together a wide range of technical
professionals in leading edge companies from around the world
focused on the latest technical advances in Silicon Germanium
(SiGe), RF CMOS and BCD (Bipolar CMOS DOS). This years conference
series is focused on the central theme of Analog Technology
Convergence Creates New Opportunities for Innovation. The event
will include a list of key invited speakers as well as contributed
talks, vendor exhibits, and a cocktail reception hosted by Jazz.
All participants will have an opportunity to meet with top
executives and technical professionals as well as key technical and
management professionals in the semiconductor industry. Jazz is
seeking proposals for papers focused on Analog-Intensive
Mixed-Signal (AIMS) topics including advances in design
methodology, system architecture, breakthrough IC demonstrations,
test/package innovations, modeling and design enablement, and
process technology. Application areas may include but are not
limited to: Analog and RF Integration, Power Amplifiers and
Front-End Modules, High Speed Analog and Millimeter-Wave, Optical
Networking, Radar, Power Analog, and MEMS. Paper Submission
Information Interested participants should submit their proposal
(no more than 1,000 words) and include an abstract of the
presentation for the conference program (max 100 words) and a
presenters profile (50 words) as well as the name of
