DS Smith Plc - Directorate Change

Ian Griffiths, who has been a non-Executive Director of DS Smith Plc since June 2014, has decided to step down from the Board from the date of publication of the Company's 2017/18 results on 28 June 2018.

Given the growth of the Group and its increasing international presence, the Board has commenced a process to replace Mr Griffiths and further strengthen the Board with the appointment of two new non-Executive Directors.

Gareth Davis, Chairman, added "On behalf of the Board and the Company, I would like to thank Ian for his contribution and commitment to the Board and the Company during his four year tenure, a period in which the Company has delivered consistent growth, created sustained value for shareholders and entered the FTSE 100.
