Celebration to include $25k in community grants
and a personalized 3D printing experience
Sam’s Club will open its Moline club at 6600 44th Avenue
following an 8 a.m. Grand Opening ceremony Thursday, August 21. The
membership warehouse club that brought 170 new jobs to the
community will give residents and small business owners the
opportunity to access incredible savings on quality merchandise,
including products made in Illinois.
“The Moline Sam’s Club will cater specifically to the needs of
our community,” said Club Manager Aaron Greene. “The leadership and
citizens of Moline have been extremely supportive of Sam’s Club and
we look forward to serving the area for many years to come.”
Moline associates selected several local organizations to
receive $25,000 in community giving grants. In the last fiscal
year, Sam’s Club, and parent company Walmart, gave more than $35
million to non-profits in the state of Illinois. The following
local organizations will be presented checks prior to Thursday’s
