Nike Inc. (NKE) unveiled several management moves on Monday,
including geographical switches for Marc van Pappelendam and Jim
Reynolds.
Mr. van Pappelendam, currently vice president and general
manager for U.K. and Ireland, will be vice president and general
manager for Central and Eastern Europe. Mr. Reynolds, who has been
vice president and general manager for Russia, will hold those
posts for Japan.
Meanwhile, Nike said Craig Zanon will be vice president and
general manager of Global Men's Training, and Michael Jackson was
named vice president and general manager of Global Basketball.
In March, Nike reported a better-than-expected 13% sales
increase for its fiscal third quarter, but warned that currency
issues could affect its results into the next fiscal year.
