of giving back through $500,000 in funding to non-profit
organizations
Constellation announced today the local Boston charities that
will receive grants as part of this year’s Constellation SENIOR
PLAYERS Championship, which will be held June 9-14 at Belmont
Country Club.
As championship sponsor, Constellation, through the
Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship, will provide $500,000 in
funding to Boston-area non-profit organizations. These grants
support a variety of local organizations and activities in the
areas of education, youth development, affordable housing and
family support services. Grant amounts will be announced after the
Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship.
“Constellation has a strong history and presence in
Massachusetts, so we’re especially pleased to be able to help
support local organizations who are making a difference,” said
Bruce Stewart, senior vice president and chief marketing officer
for Constellation. “Giving back to the communities we serve is a
key part of Constellation’s culture, and an important part of the
Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS Championship.”
Located throughout the greater Boston area, the 2015 charities
are:

for four years.
Habitat for Humanity Greater Boston has been serving low-income

impact on treatment and the experience for both the patient and
family.
The Joey Fund is an independent fund established in 1986 in
memory of Joey O’Donnell, a courageous fighter and victim of cystic
fibrosis. Together the Cystic Fibrosis Foundation and the Joey Fund
supply financial support for New England cystic fibrosis patients
and their families in times of extreme sickness or need and to fund
research to achieve the ultimate goal–a cure for cystic
fibrosis.
“The most rewarding aspect of this Championship is being able to
leave a charitable footprint in the Boston community,” said Joe
Rotellini, executive director of the Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS
Championship. “Thanks to our title sponsor, Constellation, and
other efforts, we are able to support these wonderful causes."
The Constellation SENIOR PLAYERS has donated more than $9.5
