LONDON--Advertising company WPP PLC (WPP.LN) said Friday that its unit Millward Brown has agreed to acquire Ecuadorian market research firm Habitus Investigacion SA for an undisclosed sum.

Habitus is expected to record $5 million in revenue in its 2014 financial year.

Shares of WPP at 1226 GMT trading 1.9% higher at 1,327 pence.
